Censo de grupos en sectores prioritarios de la Eurorregión
La plataforma de grupos de investigación de la Eurorregión Galicia-Norte de Portugal surge en el marco de un proyecto desarrollado por la Fundación CEER y financiado por la Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria de la Xunta de Galicia. Su objetivo es impulsar la transferencia de investigación en el Sistema Universitario Gallego y promover la colaboración a ambos lados de la frontera para la realización de proyectos conjuntos.
Para la creación de esta plataforma fueron seleccionados grupos de investigación de la Eurorregión que trabajan en las áreas establecidas por la Estrategia de Especialización Inteligente Transfronteriza (RIS3T) y el Plan de Inversiones Conjuntas de la Eurorregión.

Utilization of high pressure processing in the preparation of innovative gelified fish products fromaquaculture and fisheries;
Studies on the utilization of farmed fish species for the preparation of innovative functional seafood products with dietary fibers and low fat content and determination crosslinkingagenteffect;
Studytheeffect of different modified lipids and concentrated omega 3 fatty acids in the absorption of DHA, in the anti-inflammatory activity and in theneurologicalbenefits;
Optimization of the production process of Thraustochytrium sp. and Aurantiochhytrium sp. at intermediate and pilot scale for the production of squalene, crotenoids and polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially DHA and biochemical characterization of the biomass obtained;
Development of techniques for preparation of chitosan oligomers and characterization of the antioxidant and antibacterial activities on pathogenic and degradative bacterial strains;
Evaluatetheeconomicviability of the commercial exploitation of compounds obtained from crustacean by-products;
Promotion of the industrial preparation of innovative products of marine origin for biomedical and pharmaceuticalapplication. Servicios: Pilot plant for preparation for functional seafood products.
