The Atlantic Positive project came to an end on June 30. For four years (2019-2023), a multidisciplinary team has worked with the objective of stopping the expansion of the invasive species Vespa velutina and minimizing its impact on the ecosystems and socioeconomic development of the Atlantic Area.

The ATLANTIC_POSITIVE project comes to an end on June 30, 2023. For three years, a multidisciplinary team involving 10 institutions from Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom, in collaboration with 20 other organizations including universities, research centers, administrations and producers have been able to implement the most ambitious project launched so far at the European level to try to stop the Asian wasp and preserve native populations of pollinators.
